Indian Contemporary Art Gallery , popularly known by its abbreviation ICA; was inaugurated by K. Laxma Goud with his solo show in Jaipur on the 2nd of October 2008.Since then it has been doing art activities and camps for the past one decade. It is believed to be an ultimate place for art lovers, artists, curators, writers etc. This gallery houses the largest collection of art works from the artist all over India such as that of A Ramachandran, A P Santhanaraj, Jamini Roy.
The ambience of the Gallery is noteworthy as it can make one feel very homely and comfortable where one can sit, explore the gallery, have a coffee and enjoy the art works. This Gallery symbolises a conjunction of modern, contemporary as well as traditional art works.
As it is their third generation dealing into art, the Gallery has a collection of more than 10 thousand art works on three floors, each floor is approx 5000 square ft, totally summing up to a vast area of 15000 square foot displaying scores of high class Indian and International art works. Thus making ICA one of the best destination for both the traditional and contemporary artistic ventures in the Pink city.
