Museum of tribal art and artifacts , Bubaneshwar

Popularly called the Tribal museum, this was established in the year 1953. The aim of the whole initiative was to collect and display tribal artifacts from in and around Odisha. In the year 1986, 5 Tribal huts such as Santal, Juang, Gadaba, Saora and Kandha communities were built in the premises of SCSTRTI. A new Museum building came about on 5th March 2001. This Museum of Man is an integrated part of the Institution, which disseminates knowledge covering the human species in totality. It is a mile stone in its history and one of the important wings of SCSTRTI, Government of Odisha.
