Born at Muvattupuzha, a beautiful town in Ernakulam district of Kerala which is a land with great natural beauty. Graduated in B.F.A from Bharati University, West Bengal and M.F.A of Arts from the Faculty of Arts, MS University of Baroda, Gujarat.

He Joined Kalabhavan, Santiniketan in 1991 and completed bachelors degree in Fine Art in 1996 and then studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University of Baroda in 1996 – 1998. He taught art at the fine art collages in Kerala for about four years

Particulars about your individual / group exhibitions

One of his paintings appeared in a leading literary magazine in 2016 led to a controversy over its analogy with the Leonardo Davinci’s ‘Last supper’. He has exhibited his works in various exhibitions in India and abroad.

He has been the recipient of many awards like AIFACS Award, New Delhi in 1997 and 1998, Kerala Lalithakala Academy Award, and Govt. Of Kerala in 1997, Haren Das Award, Academy of Fine Arts, Calcutta in 1995 etc.

In the year 2000, published an article in the leading literary periodical “Bhashaposhini” focusing on the issues involved in Art and Art Education in Kerala.
