This is an essential photo exhibition of Serendipity’17. How can a major event like Serendipity go
without mentioning a bit about the space from which it is based? Exploring Panjim’s secret is a
photo series in which two photographers sets out for a journey to explore Panjim and its best kept
secrets. It comes as photo essays that are in the form of a newsletter. One of the photographer is
hailing from Goa, for other it is the second home.
Panjim is a city of historical relevance. Goa, its life, its history and culture is being unveiled through
this photo essay. “Through this, I have tried to capture certain interesting and often overlooked
aspects of the city that gives it such a unique character” says Manish Jaju, the chief photographer.
About the Curator :
Dinesh Khanna is a senior photographer who has been working in this sector for the past 26 years.
He is known for his photo exhibitions: “In my own world”, “Living Faith”, “Colours an Indian
Language” among others.
